To the Editor:

I want to thank the anonymous person (or persons) who paid for breakfast two weeks ago for the World War II Prisoners of War survivors and other veterans who meet monthly at Bunny’s Restaurant in Suffolk.

This breakfast has become an educational and patriotic event for younger veterans and their friends who learn of the hardships endured by these POWs over 60 years ago.

On behalf of these military heroes, I thank this anonymous person for this kind gesture.
