Meagan Kay Bradshaw and Patrick Edward Lynch were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Windsor Congregational Christian Church.

The Rev. Lafayette T. Wilkins officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Keith Bradshaw of Carrsville. She is the maternal granddaughter of Margaret Duffy Houle of Carrsville and the late Robert John Houle, and the paternal granddaughter of the late Nell McClenny Webster and the late Joseph Willard Bradshaw.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Louis Lynch Jr. of Windsor. He is the maternal grandson of Wilmer Atlas Rhodes of Bailey, N.C., and the late Sarah Lee Rhodes, and the paternal grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Louis Lynch Sr.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a one-piece corset V-neck gown with a slim skirt and sweep train by designer Maggie Sottero.The drop waist featured soft draping that came off the bodice, and the side hip was accented with a jeweled brooch.

Ashley Jean Horne of Suffolk, friend of the bride, was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Tara Anne Dodson of Chesapeake and Lisa Michelle Thompson of Vienna, both friends of the bride, and Meredith Lynch Michael of Smithfield, sister of the groom.

Daisy Victoria Edwards of Franklin, served as flower girl.

Lauren Ashley Wilkins, friend of the bride, served as the bride’s attendant.

Matthew Duayne Dize of Newport News, friend of the groom, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Ryan Williams Leary of Newport News and Brian Aaron Haynie of Carrollton, both friends of the groom, and John Cody Bradshaw of Carrsville, brother of the bride.

Ushers were Floyd Stephen Fowler of Kill Devils Hills, N.C., cousin of the bride, and Robert Carey Michael of Smithfield, brother-in-law of the groom.

Wedding music was provided by organist Sidney Neighbors and soloist Cathi Bidwell, who sang “The Road that Never Ends.”

Mistress of ceremonies was Michelle Fleming Brinkley, friend of the bride’s family.

Guestbook and program attendants were Emily Grace Edwards and Elliotte Elizabeth Wilkins, friends of the bride and groom.

Immediately following the ceremony, the bride’s parents entertained guests with dinner and dancing at the Suffolk Center for the Cultural Arts. Music was provided by Island Boy Band.

After a honeymoon at the Sandals Resort in Antigua, the couple resides in Newport News with their dog, Tucker.

Immediately following the rehearsal, the groom’s parents entertained the wedding party and guests at Nansemond River Golf Club with a dinner honoring the bride and groom. The bride and groom chose this time to present gifts to their attendants and special friends.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Windsor High School and received her bachelor of science degree in business administration from Christopher Newport University in 2008 and her master’s of accounting from the College of William and Mary in 2009. She is employed by Goodman and Co. in Newport News.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Windsor High School and received his bachelor of science degree in health and physical education from Chowan University in 2007. He is employed with Hampton City Schools.

An engagement pool party was hosted by David and Michelle Brinkley on at their home in Windsor.

The bride was honored with a shower hosted by Sandra Fowler, aunt of the bride, and Tracey Piper and Courtney Fowler, cousins of the bride, at the Fowler home in Murfreesboro, N.C.

The bride was honored with a monogram shower hosted by her bridesmaids at the couple’s home in Newport News.

The bride was entertained with a “bachelorette” weekend in Myrtle Beach while the groom had a cookout and was escorted by boat to a night out in Norfolk.

The bride and her attendants were honored with a bridesmaids’ luncheon at Mosaic Café in Suffolk hosted by Margaret Houle, grandmother of the bride; Teresa Beale, aunt of the bride; and Courtney Roggmann, cousin of the bride.
