Bobby Cornwell
Franklin – John Robert “Bobby” Cornwell, III, 55, passed away July 28, 2010 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, John Robert “Tink” Cornwell, Jr. and Maude Wise Cornwell. He was also predeceased by a brother, Michael Alton Cornwell. Bobby was a former Franklin City police officer and a former Franklin City treasurer. He was a member of Franklin Baptist Church and Franklin Masonic Lodge 151 AF&AM.
Survivors include his two sisters, Tina C. Drewry (David) of Franklin and Cheryl A. Cornwell of Palm Bay, Fl.; two brothers, Billy Cornwell (Connie) and Timmy Cornwell (Susan), all of Franklin; two nieces, Kelly Drewry and Brooke Cornwell; four nephews, Dale, Adam, Bobby and Jonathan Cornwell and his special friend, Janet Leigh Bradshaw of Franklin.
A celebration of Bobby’s life, with Masonic Rites, will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, August 1, 2010 in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
