Timothy A. Gibson
COURTLAND—Timothy “Tim” Alan Gibson, 47, passed away June 30, 2010, at his residence.
Tim was born in Goldsboro, N.C.
He worked at International Paper in Franklin for 27 years in the sheet finishing department.
Tim was a member of Courtland United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Martha McDuffie Gibson; daughter, Michelle Gibson of Baltimore, Md.; mother, Gertrude Parker Gibson of Murfreesboro, N.C.; brothers Marty Gibson (Roberta) of Conway, N.C., and Pete Gibson (Suzanne) of Murfreesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Earl Emmanuel Gibson.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. today, July 2, at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Richard Gordon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
