The Windsor Lady Waves 8U Pinto Girls softball team recently won the 2010 Western Tidewater Pinto Championship.

The Lady Waves defeated the Suffolk Strikers 12-5 in Game 2 of the finals to clinch the title.

The Lady Waves were 14-0 in the regular season.

They won in the tournament quarterfinals and semifinals, and lost in Game 1 of the finals.

The girls fought back after their first loss of the season with a strong showing to win the championship in Game 2.

Head Coach Hershel Burks’ 14U Windsor Lady Waves also won in the championships.
