RADFORD—Franklin High School’s Justin Grant received a medal in the 200-meter dash at the Virginia High School League State Track and Field Championships at Radford University.

Justin Grant also competed in the long and triple jumps, and 200-meter dash.

Reshard Sumblin, Mercedes Williams and Shaleetta Hicks competed in the triple jump. Williams also competed in the 200-meter dash and Hicks was in the high jump. Each finished in the top 10 for their events.
