WINDSOR—A company looking to build a housing development in Windsor is sponsoring an informational meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 17, at Windsor Ruritan Club on Community Drive.

Representatives from Napolitano Homes and its partners will provide information about the proposed development near Route 258 and North Court Street.

“We thought that it would be good to hold a meeting with the general public before we make the actual submittal to the town so that we can present what we’re intending to do, answer any questions and get feedback from the general public,” said George Phelps of Napolitano Homes.

Phelps would not comment further, but said more details about the project would be available Thursday.

Napolitano Homes, which is Virginia Beach-based, is one of the partners involved in the proposed development.

The project would require rezoning, according to Windsor Planning and Zoning Administrator Dennis Carney. However, since an application has not been filed, he didn’t have any additional information.
