“Dink” Golden
Ruth Elizabeth “Dink” Golden, 70, of 114 Nancy Drive, No. 203, departed this earthly life Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at Sentara Obici Hospital.
Ruth was a native of Murfreesboro, N.C., and the daughter of the late Estelle Jennings and Joseph Ruffin.
Ruth was a clerk at Joyner’s Motel.
She was a member of New Paul’s Temple Holiness Church of Deliverance.
Ruth was preceded in death by sisters Novella Owens, Lois Goodman, Doris Wood and Lula Rodgers; and brothers Willie, James and Robert Ruffin.
Ruth is survived by an adopted daughter, Angela McQuillia (Travis); and adopted son, Micah Lee.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 14, at New Paul’s Temple Holiness Church of Deliverance, 720 Hosier Road.
