WINDSOR—All employees for the Town of Windsor, except the town manager, will receive 2 percent raises in the 2010-2011 proposed budget, which does not call for tax increases.

The tax rate for real estate is 10 cents per $100 of assessed value, making the tax on a $100,000 home $100. Tax rate on personal property is 50 cents per $100 of assessed value.

The proposed $1.52 million budget is 10 percent less than the current budget. The water budget is 8 percent lower than the 2009-2010 spending plan.

“This is a no frills budget,” said Windsor Clerk Robin Hewitt. “We plan to cut spending and no prior fund balances (savings) will be used.”

Residents will not see any services cut or added.
