IVOR—Residents will not be asked to pay higher taxes to support the proposed budget for 2010-2011, said Ivor Town Clerk Lorene Cook.
The proposed tax rate is 10 cents per $100 of assessed value for real estate, making the tax on a $100,000 home $100.
The tax rate for personal property is 60 cents per $100 of assessed value.
The $132,100 proposed spending plan is less than the $134,960 budgeted for 2009-2010, Cook said.
Employees will not receive pay raises and no town services will be cut or added.
