COURTLAND — Tidewater Academy’s baseball team will play Steward School in the Virginia Commonwealth Conference semifinals at 2:30 p.m. today, May 7, at Southampton Academy.

Tidewater defeated Southampton Academy 10-6 on Tuesday to qualify for the semifinals.

Tidewater scored 10 runs on 11 hits and made 2 errors.

Southampton Academy scored 6 runs on 10 hits and made 8 errors.

The team scored 4 runs in the fourth, 1 in the fifth and 1 in the seventh.
