To the Editor:

Just in case you haven’t heard, there’s gonna be the biggest, baddest, boldest high school reunion ever held in Franklin from Aug. 13 through 15. People will be talking for days about all the fun that they had. Here’s a snapshot of all that is scheduled.

Meet and Greet Social at Fred’s featuring the Hog Bear Band, ‘70’s classic car show, midnight bowling party, golf tournament, wine and cheese social, Spades card tournament and a Dine and Dance Extravaganza. Oh yeah, did I mention that all the cool classmates who attended Franklin/Hayden High School during the ‘70s will be there.

So don’t miss it. There are a limited amount of tickets still available, and registration closes on June 1. Now check this out. For $45 you get the Dinner and Dance Extravaganza, which includes a disc jockey, door prizes, buffet, cash bar, commemorative T-shirt and party favors.

To register and get more information, go online to franklinhaydenru.info or contact one of the planning committee’s members: Kathy Worrell, David Rabil, Dorothy Harris, Irma Brown, Nancy Cronwell, Debbie March, Lucy Minetree Wallace, Jean Porter, Kim Scott, Marbara Woods, Berry Brooke Payne, Beverly Spain Myers, Cindy Moore or Holland Ricks. If I were you, I would go ahead and send in my registration check to Kathy Worrell, 717 Fairview Drive, Franklin, Va., 23851 and make the check payable to FHS Mega 70’s Reunion.

Once the tickets are gone…they’re gone!!!!!
