How’s business? It is only my third week, but I want everyone to know I’m here. I’m available and ready to listen to your needs. I am a previous salon owner with 24-plus years of experience with hair and nails.
One thing you wish everyone knew about your business: We are not a tanning
salon. We offer hair, nails, waxing and tanning.
Something you offer that a customer won’t find elsewhere: Nail services “by
hand.” No drills. I do gels, acrylics, pink and whites, nail art, manicures
and pedicures. I am a professional with 24-plus years of experience. The
salon offers extended evening and weekend hours.
Advice to young entrepreneurs: Gather as much training/knowledge in your field as possible.Nothing beats ”hands-on.” This type of experience enables you to offer your customer a “top notch” product and “unbeatable” customer service.
Your first job: Cashier at Roses
Your role model (in business or in life generally): Maye Bond – my “adopted” mother. She gave me my first job as a hairdresser and taught me everything I know and then some.
The key to a successful business is: “Listening” to your customers’ needs.
