The Southampton Academy soccer team improved its record to 9-1 last week, winning three in a row in the Raiders’ first action since spring break.
The Raiders traveled to Richmond Tuesday and shut out conference rival Blessed Sacrament Hugenot 2-0 off goals by senior captains Tim Chrysatamous and Brett Moore.
The following evening, conference opponent Fuqua came to town only to be shut out. The Raider defense was led by junior Michael Milteer and sophomores Austin Foster, Rachel Holland and keeper Thomas Taylor.
This was their seventh shutout of the season.
Sophmore Phenom Drey netted his sixth hat trick of the season giving the raiders a 5-0 victory.
The Raiders dominated Franklin High Friday 13-1 at Armory field. The Broncos were missing several starters and both teams played short on players.
