To the Editor:

As a lifelong resident of Capron and a father of a daughter that plays softball for the 13u fast-pitch softball team in Capron, I would like to say thank you and job well done to the coaches, parents, the Drewryville Woman’s Club and the Drewryville Ruritan Club for their efforts in building the new softball field in Drewryville.

It has been of great pleasure to see two communities come together for such a great cause. With all of your hard work and dedication, you have given these great kids in our community a place they can be proud of. In the times we live in today it is good to see people come together for one common purpose.

That’s good of our youth! Again thank you! A job well done!
