Gloria Johnson
FRANKLIN — Gloria Elaine Milteer Johnson, 53, of Bracey Street, Franklin, passed away April 12, 2010.
Elaine was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Milteer.
Elaine is survived by her husband, Jeffrey N. Johnson; son, Corey L. Johnson; daughter, Shawanda Milteer of Baltimore; mother Willie B. Rose of Franklin; sisters Rose Bryant (Tyrone) of Sedley and Beatrice Ash (Clarence) of Suffolk; brothers Edwin “Bubba” Milteer and Elmer “Lil Guy” Milteer (Tawanda) of Como, N.C.; grandchild Ameya L. Johnson; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at noon Monday, April 19, at New Hope Baptist Church at 1415 Rosewood Ave., Franklin, with Dr. Peggy Scott delivering the message and the Rev. H. Keith Rose presiding. The Rev. Anthony Goodwyn is pastor. Interment will be in Southview Cemetery.
