The Southampton Academy girls’ tennis team rebounded from a lopsided season-opening road loss to Steward School on Tuesday with a decisive 9-0 win over Tidewater Academy on Thursday.

Lindsay Raulston (left) and Gabby Gatten posted an easy 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles. Each won their singles matches as well.

Other singles winners for SA were Barclay Gatten, Jessica Porter, Jessica Ruffin and Ginny Taylor. The No. 2 doubles team of Barclay Gatten and Porter prevailed 8-1, as did Ruffin and Taylor at No. 3 doubles. Barclay Gatten, a freshman, picked up the Lady Raiders’ only victory against
