MURFREESBORO—James Williar Watson, 84, died March 9, 2010 at Davis Health Care Center in Wilmington, NC.
A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Riverside Cemetery of Murfreesboro, N.C.
Watson retired from the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Environmental Services Division in Richmond.
Survivors include nieces Pat Watson of Wilmington, NC; Kathryn Watson Murphy (Tom) of Pittsburgh, PA; and nephew Robert Edward Watson, Jr. (Leigh Ann) of Raleigh, NC. Remembered also are cousins George Evans (Patti) of Como, NC and Jane Lawder Johnston of Richmond, VA.
Wright Funeral was in charge of arrangements.
