Mary Thorpe
WAVERLY—Mary Frances Welch Thorpe, 83, died March 11, 2010.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Waverly Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Waverly Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Purviance Chapel, J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home in Wakefield.
Among her survivors are four children, including a son, James A. Thorpe Jr., of Waverly; a sister, Evelyn W. Cowling; and a brother, Harold F. Welch of Waverly.
