Seminar set for Saturday in W’field

WAKEFIELD—The Tri-City and Southside Chapters of the International Association of Administrative Professionals is hosting a professional development seminar this Saturday at the Airfield 4-H Conference Center in Wakefield.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in two sessions: High Performance in Challenging Times, presented by Paula King of Optima Health; and The Leader in You, presented by Cindy Taylor of Chesterfield County.
“They’re discussing leadership in the administrative field,” said Diane Wade, a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals. She said the sessions will help “expand and strengthen” the relationship of administrative professionals in the workforce.
Sessions run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Registration for the seminar is $45 and lunch is included.

The International Association of Administrative Professionals is non-profit professional association for office professionals with approximately 40,000 members and affiliates and nearly 600 chapters worldwide, according to its Web site.
The Southside chapter covers the Franklin area and Suffolk and the Tri-Cities chapter covers Peterburg, Colonial Heights and Hopewell.
