The Urquhart-Gillette Camp 1471 Inc. Sons of Confederate Veterans is prepping for its second annual gigantic auction sale Saturday.

The auction, which is to benefit Save Mahone’s Tavern and Museum, will begin at 9 a.m. at the Courtland Ruritan Building off Old Plank Road.

Bring the family and enjoy plenty of good food and sale bargains.

“We are also soliciting donations from businesses and individuals,” said Cmdr. Tommy Simmons.
