NEWSOMS-Beady J. Artis Turner of Newsoms died Feb. 13, 2010, at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Odom Chapel Baptist Church in Newsoms. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Lindell T. Brown of Franklin and Jessie M. Turner of Newsoms, and a sister, Magaline Wright of Portsmouth.
William M. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
