Victoria F. Story

Franklin- Victoria Ferguson Story, 86, widow of Jack T. Story, Sr., died February 15, 2010. Mrs. Story was born in Southampton County, a daughter of the late Samuel Carlton and Mary Miles Ferguson. She was predeceased by a daughter, Susan Story Bunch, a sister, Olive F. Whitley and a brother, Ed Ferguson. Mrs. Story was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

Survivors include her four sons, Jack T. Story, Jr. (Ann), Robert L. Story (Ann) and Victor M. Story (Debbie), all of Franklin, and S. Eugene Story (Ruth Ann) of Zuni; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Richard L. Peerey officiating. Interment will follow in Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home and suggests memorials be made to Beaver Dam Baptist Church, 3593 Carrsville Hwy., Franklin, VA 23851. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
