All area public schools have announced delayed openings Thursday.

Franklin students are on a two-hour delay. School and office personnel should report on time.

Southampton County schools also are on a two-hour delay for both students and staff.

Isle of Wight County Schools will open on a 90-minute delay Thursday, but staff should report on time. All buses will operate on a 90-minute delay.
