Franklin and Southampton County public schools have canceled classes on Monday due to icy road conditions.

Isle of Wight County Schools had already been scheduled to be closed for teacher workshops.

Paul D. Camp Community College and Chowan University also will be closed.

The Texie Camp Marks Children’s Center will open at 10 a.m. on Monday and will not offer transportation. The center will close at 4 p.m.

The Early Head Start building at 507 Third Ave. will be closed on Monday.

Isle of Wight County government offices are closed for Monday. Southampton County government offices will open two hours later than usual.
