Helen M. Story

Franklin— Helen Marie Story, 83, widow of Thomas A. Story, died January 26, 2010, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, N.C. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Smithfield.
Survivors include one daughter, Bettie Jean Barbier of Edisto Island, S.C.; two sons, Thomas Melvin Story of Woodbury, Conn., and Michael Allen Story of Garner, N.C.; three sisters, Bettie Ropelewski of Garner, N.C., Mary Virginia Jenkins of Aulander, N.C. and Nellie Mae Williams of Colerain, N.C.; one brother, Grady Wheeler of Goldsboro, N.C.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at Wright Funeral Home with the Pastor Donald Watkins officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Horeb Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
