Rosa P. White
VIRGINIA BEACH—Rosa Parks White, 83, passed away Jan. 19, 2010.
A native of North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Ruth Parks and the widow of Lloyd Chesley White Sr.
She is survived by her two daughters, Ann W. Jaeder and husband, Robert of Delray Beach, Fla., and Linda G. White of Virginia Beach; two sons, Lloyd C. White Jr. and wife, Debbie of Windsor, Va., and Kenny White and Royce Ambrose of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Katie Holland (Joey), Brandi Brackley (Jason) and Laura White; two sisters, Elsie Rudinger of Chesapeake and Hilda Loyd of Raleigh, N.C.; stepbrother, Thurston Langley of Texas; a great-grandson, William “Will” Holland; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Suzy Szymanski for all of her help and support in mom’s life.
A funeral service was conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Indian River Chapel. The burial followed in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
