To the Editor:

I would like thank the idiot/idiots who have no respect for animals and dumped two whitetail deer carcasses at the Steel Bridge boat ramp. This is prime material for the anti-s who want to ban hunting.

Apparently they’re not aware that if the carcasses were left in the woods that the loose dogs, foxes, coyotes, etc., would make short order of the carcasses, which would provide them with their daily food.

And to add to the fiasco, there was a beagle-type hunting dog carcass there also. He probably didn’t come up to their standards, so he also lost his life. He had a painted P3 on his body, a practice that some dog owners use to identify their dogs. It’s too bad that we have to put up with this kind of practice that some so-called hunters put before the public.
