To the Editor:

I have lived here in Franklin all my life and I am concerned about the proposed OLF for our countryside.

I know that our community is about to lose our largest employer with the closing of International Paper and has already experienced the closings of other work places and small businesses due to our national recession.

I am sure that everyone wants to do the right thing for our country as we are patriotic and support our Navy and other military services.

However, I hope that our politicians will help to ensure that should we sacrifice any quality of life for this OLF that our citizens and communities will benefit financially and with the benefit of new jobs.
