John L. Epps Jr.
PETERSBURG—John Leroy “Sonnybuck” Epps Jr. died Jan. 1, 2010, at his residence.
He was employed at Seward Luggage and retired from Masonite (International Paper) after 37 years of service.
Among his survivors are son Derek Epps of Courtland; and a brother, Lewis Bolden of Waverly.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Union Hill United Church of Christ, Sedley, with the Rev. Roy Stokes officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Tucker’s Funeral Home, Petersburg, is in charge of arrangements.
