Franklin police killed a man this morning after a four-hour standoff resulting from a domestic dispute.

Donald A. Whitley Jr., 36, was killed around 5 a.m. at his home at 313 Fairview Drive. Whitley had purchased the home in March, according to land records.

Police arrived at the scene just after 1 a.m.
