Thays H. Harris
IVOR—Thays “Sonny” Hugh Harris, 57, died Dec. 9, 2009, at Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk.
Among his survivors are his sons, Antonio Eley (Shanika) of Ivor and Darius Eley (Patrice) of Wakefield; sister, Hilda Harris of Waverly; aunt, Delman Harris of Ivor.
A service to celebrate his life was held Tuesday at Gilfield Baptist Church, Ivor, officiated by the Rev. Kenneth Ricks.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk, was in charge of arrangements.
