Kenneth C. Evett
COURTLAND—Kenneth C. Evett, 87, died Oct. 28, 2009.
He was a Navy veteran and worked as a mechanic, most recently a carpenter with Southland Construction.
Survivors include the Beamon family of Burdette and Mary D. Worrell of Sedley.
Graveside service with military honors will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk.
A Catholic blessing service will follow at a future date.
Altmeyer Funeral Home, Denbigh Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
