To the Editor:

I was a police officer there for 12 years. I went in the hospital for an operation in 2007. I had complications during recovery.

The people of Franklin and Southampton County came together to help me. I am now doing very well. Thanks to all.

The honorable judge Westbrook Parker was the one whom I wanted to preside over all of the cases that I had worked on. I know that he will be sorely missed.
