LITTLETON, N.C.—Julian Wayne Traylor, 88, former resident of Roanoke Rapids, passed away at his home with his wife by his side.
He was a graduate of Franklin High in Virginia, attended Penn State University and later chose the profession of land surveyor.
Traylor was a Mason, Shriner, Lion’s Club member and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Tina; his daughter, Juliana Traylor Morgan and her husband Tommy Morgan of Wilmington; his daughter, Chris Dildy and her husband, Jimmy Dildy of Littleton; his son, Hunter Traylor and his wife, Wanda Traylor of Littleton. Grandchildren Brigitte Hale and her husband, Kenny Hale of Littleton; Todd Morgan and his wife, Christy of Gainesville, Fla.; Kelly Traylor and her friend, Travis Wells; Brittany Traylor and her friend, Nathaniel Thompson; Catherine Dildy Cardinale and her husband, Patrick Cardinale of Willow Grove, Pa.; and Alex and Maggie Hale of Littleton.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Wrenn Clark Hagan Funeral Home from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jim Lee, longtime family and friend and Rev. C.J. Owens officiating.
Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery, Roanoke, Rapids, N.C.
