Evelyn D. Porter
MURFREESBORO, N.C.—Evelyn D. Porter, 68, died Nov. 24, 2009, at her residence.
Among her survivors are sons, Conell Porter and Thonnia Porter, both of Murfreesboro; and daughter, Esther Spivey of Como, N.C.
A funeral was held Sunday at Parkers Grove Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, with the Rev. Fernando Temple Sr. officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, N.C., handled the arrangements.
