To the Editor:

Thanks again to S.P. Morton Elementary. The recent Discovery Night seemed to me, as a parent, to be a great success. I don’t know how many people came, but the hallways were filled with interested families.

For those of you who are not familiar, Discovery Night is a learning night for parents, with entertainment and child care available for students and their siblings. I attended the session on how you and your child can handle stress. It was well-presented and very informative. I have already used what I learned with my child.

Thanks to Principal Don Spengeman and his team for another creative way of involving the whole family in successful learning experiences.
