Valerie Hill
WAVERLY—Valerie Hill died Nov. 17, 2009.
She was born on March 9, 1971.
She was a graduate of Sussex Central High School in 1989.
Survivors include her parents, Elisha P. Hill III and Christine Hill of Waverly; a sister, Stephanie V. Gray and a brother-in-law, Frank Mandel Gray; one niece, Tia A. Gray; one nephew, Mandel S. Gray, all of Charleston, S.C.; two grandmothers, Estelle Gay and Mildred Hill, both of Wakefield; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was to be held at noon Saturday at Mars Hill AME Zion Church, Wakefield, with the Rev. Benjamin F. Petway, pastor, officiating.
The interment will be in Booker T. Cemetery, Wakefield.
Family and friends will assemble at 11:15 a.m. at the residence one hour prior to the service.
Services have been entrusted to Peace-Bland Funeral Home, Waverly.
