Linda I. Clements
SUFFOLK—Linda Irene Crocker Clements, 65, died Nov. 17, 2009.
A native of Zuni, she was the daughter of the late Willie Harvey Crocker and Lovie Lewis Crocker and was also predeceased by her late husband, Warren Douglas Clements and sister, Mildred Hampton. Linda was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Renee Clements and fiance Hilton Hansen Newbold Jr. of Waverly and Holly Denise Clements and Eric Chappell of Suffolk; son, Christopher Warren Clements of Newport News; grandchildren, Jasmine Nicole Chappell and Jordan Nicholas Chappell; sister-in-law, Faye C. Clarke; brothers, William Harvey Crocker, Ronald and Miranda Crocker; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk with the Rev. Roy Drake officiating.
Burial will follow at Waverly Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. for visitation.

Horace D. Copeland
OSSINING, N.Y.—Horace D. Copeland, 78, died Nov. 12, 2009, at Calvary Hospital in Bronx, N.Y.
He was a native of Como, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Viola Copeland of Ossining.
Graveside services will be held at noon on Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.
