Academy netters win semifinals

LAWRENCEVILLE—Southampton Academy volleyball defeated Christchurch 25-22, 25-15, 25-20 in the semifinals of the Virginia Commonwealth Conference volleyball tournament Thursday night.
Lindsay Raluston led the SA attack with 17 kills and 13 assists. Beth Waller added 17 kills, Forest Best had 9 kills and Jamie Bradshaw had 23 serves in with 5 aces.
The Lady Raiders play in the VCC championship game on Saturday 4 p.m. at Brunswick Academy.
