John T. Claud Jr.
CHESAPEAKE—John Thomas Claud Jr., 68, died Nov. 1, 2009, at his home.
Born in Norfolk, he was the son of the late Ethel F. and John T. Claud and he was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Claud Dawson.
Mr. Claud retired Aug. 1, 2003, as a real estate appraiser for the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Veronica Davis Claud; four sons, John Thomas Claud III and wife Christie W. Claud of Courtland, William Franklin Claud, Stephen Michael Claud and wife, Susan E. Claud, and Gregory Davis Claud, all of Chesapeake; grandchildren, Katheryn S. O’Connors, Cortney B. O’Connors, Justin D. Claud, C. Blake Claud, and C. Blair Claud; and sister, Claudette Claud of Drewryville; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be private.
