Lossie M. Peele
CHESAPEAKE—Lossie M. Peele, 62, died Oct. 23, 2009, in her residence.
Born in Southampton County, she attended Little Grove Baptist Church, Huntersville, Suffolk.
Survivors include husband, Raymond D. Peele; two daughters, Sherry Peele- Brown (Booker T.) of Detroit and Shavon Peele of Chesapeake; brother, Raymond L. Harris of Roxbury, Mass.; three grandchildren, Erika, Toni (Omar), Juwuana; two great-grandchildren, Honnesty and Omari; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her mother, Virginia Harris; father, Willis Harris Sr; and brother, Willis Harris Jr.
A funeral will be held today at 11 a.m. in Little Grove Baptist Church, Suffolk, with the Rev. Ralph Richardson presiding.
The family will be at the residence. The body will be in the church Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk.
