Raymond H. Walton
SUFFOLK—Raymond Harrison Walton died Sept. 19, 2009.
He was born in Isle of Wight County on May 12, 1932, to the late Ecorse and Ophelia Walton.
Mr. Walton retired after 14 years of hard work and dedicated service from Commercial Ready Mix.
He was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Windsor.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Ernest Walton, Clarence Walton and Robie Walton.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Walton; four sons, James Holland (Sonya), Alvin Walton (Jackie), Raymond Walton Jr. (Lakina) and Donnell Walton (Jewell); five daughters, Patricia Scott, Jenell Spruill (Kenny), Tenecia Walton, Jackita Walton and Shaquetta Walton; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Otis Walton; one sister, Clara Liverman; and a host of other family and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at Pulaski Baptist Church, 6431 Carrsville Highway, Carrsville.
Interment will immediately follow at Chapel Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
