Katherine K. Kirkland
PENDLETON, N.C.—Katherine Kee Kirkland, 88, died Sept. 16, 2009, at Southampton Memorial Hospital.
A native of Northampton County, she was a member of Galatia Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Joseph H. Kirkland of Margarettsville, N.C.; a sister, Ella Jean Overby of Branchville; and one grandchild.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Galatia Baptist Church with the Rev. David Foster officiating. Burial followed at Conway Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Galatia Baptist Church for Missions or to the Conway-Severn Rescue Squad.
Massey Funeral Home, Jackson, N.C., handled the arrangements.
