Robert Keyes
SUFFOLK—Robert Keyes died Sept. 16, 2009, at Sentara Obici Hospital.
He was a native of Nansemond County and the son of the late Gladys Keyes.
Mr. Keyes was a former member of House of Prayer #1 in Franklin.
Survivoss include his wife, Joyce A. Keyes; two daughters, Mary Ann Riddick of Suffolk and Tomeka Keyes of Franklin; one son Robert Keyes Jr. (Paula) of Suffolk; seven grandchildren; his father, Herman Lee Mitchell of New York; one sister, Gladys Pope of Courtland; one brother, Johnny Sessoms of Suffolk; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday at Crocker Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Min. Kelvin Green. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
The family will assemble at 173 Lummis Road at noon for the procession to the funeral.
