Dorothy L. Stith
HAMPTON—Dorothy Louise Williams Stith was born Aug. 17, 1922, in Southampton County, to the late William Henry and Louanna Williams.
She peacefully made her transition on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nelson H. Stith.
Survivors include her dearly loved children, Dorothy Lattimore, Gloria Darden (Charles), LaVerne Burch, William (Connie), Anthony (Geraldine), Ronnie and Michelle Candis; a sister, Margaret Williams; many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Greater Walters AME Zion Church. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
Viewing will be held two hours prior to the service at the church on Friday.
