David A. Williams
JACKSON SPRINGS, N.C.—David Adel Williams, 51, died Sept. 14, 2009, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
He was a native of Norfolk, and retired in Jackson Springs, N.C.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, George Adel Williams and Carolyn Spooner Williams.
Survivors include his wife, Elaina Richardson Williams; a son, Jason Williams of Virginia Beach; daughters, Ashton Williams of Jackson Springs and fiancé Steven Albert of Eastwood, N.C., Devon Williams of Jackson Springs; grandson, Gavin Williams of Jackson Springs; a brother, George Steven Williams and wife Meta of Wakefield; sisters, Carla Self and husband Chuck of Memphis, Tenn., Pennie McGanty and husband Ernie of Virginia Beach, Mollie Hunger and husband Jon of Virginia Beach; many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was conducted Thursday at Jackson Springs Cemetery by the Rev. Suzanne Simpson.
