FRANKLIN—A Franklin man was arrested and charged with two counts of rape. The alleged incidents involved a juvenile.

Steve Bradshaw, 44, of the 300 block of Thomas Street, was taken into custody on Sept. 1 for allegedly raping a juvenile sometime over the past year in Franklin.

Franklin Police Officer Joshua Butts said that the case was brought to his attention through the city’s Department of Social Services.

On Friday, police were unsure whether Bradshaw had been released on bond. Butts said that the investigation is still ongoing, and no more information could be released.
