Dianne J. Eades
IVOR—Dianne Sue Joyner Eades, 65, died Sept. 10, 2009, at Consulate Healthcare in Windsor.
She was born on March 20, 1944, in Southampton County.
Mrs. Eades was a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Sixx Raven Crow Carter and Michael Eades; a sister, Ruth Ellen Burch and husband John; four brothers, Tommy Joyner and wife Paula, Gene Joyner and wife Joni, Randall Joyner and wife Lynn, Larry Joyner and wife Nancy; two aunts, Virgie Duke and Martha Cutchins; and three grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her “Mama and Daddy” James and Rachel Joyner; a son, Christopher Eades and a grandson, Logan Carter.
A funeral service will be held at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church, Zuni, Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Rob Edwards officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the Family Life Center of the church following the services Sunday and at other times at the residence of Ruth Ellen Burch, Ivor.
Memorial donations may be made to Tucker Swamp Baptist Church.
The Purviance Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Wakefield, is handling arrangements.
