Paul Langston Jr.
MURFREESBORO, N.C.—Paul Langston, 77, died Aug. 29, 2009, at Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City, N.C.
A native of Hertford County, he was a member of First Baptist Church Murfreesboro where he taught Sunday School and was an usher.
Mr. Langston was member of the U.S. Army and served in Korea. After the military, he worked for Georgia Pacific for 30 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Dianna Williams of Charlotte, N.C., and two grandchildren.
A funeral was held Wednesday at First Baptist Church Murfreesboro with the Rev. Robert Richardson officiating.
Burial will take place in Carver Park Cemetery.
Hunter’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie, N.C., handled the arrangements.
